I started shotgun and wing shooting at age 6. I have had the privilege of hunting waterfowl on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, to big game in Africa. I am the past president of the board of directors for the Ocmulgee River Gun Club and currently maintan a board position today. I also serve on various boards including The Sumter Arts Council and the Greater Atlanta Chapter of Safari Club International. SGSA is also skilled in working with disabled students who need to shoot from wheelchairs, to developmental students with ADHD and Autism. I have shot with, and been coached by, multiple world champions and hall of fame members.
Having had to fight several different cancers, I was forced to take a hiatus from my shooting but was able to continue coaching on a limited basis. Healthy and back in full force. I am working my way back up the ranks and taking on a full lesson schedule.
High-Tec Methods
We use the latest technology to provide the student with immediate feedback and visual analysis of every shot. Being coached what to do, and then being able to immediately see the results the shot shortens the learning curve. We utilize the innoShotTracker system, the only system that graphically shows the shot itself, and also provides immediate video feedback. In any shooting sport, the eyes are the most important. For target acquisition, and in some cases eye dominance issues, we use the Synaptic glasses. These are currently used by elite athletes in baseball, basketball, hockey and soccer. Synaptic has now designed methods used to help train the clay shooter. This system is currently being used by several olympic medalists as a part of their daily routine.

- Individual lessons are $80.00.
- Additional students, up to 2, are an additional $50.00 each
- Students are responsible for shells and targets.
- ShotTracker can be utilized during or after the lesson for analysis.
- Rental guns are available for $10.00 per lesson.

- Additional students, up to 2, are an additional $20.00 each.

- These sessions last longer and are typically more intense than a lesson.
- ShotTracker will be used for immediate analysis.

Wing Shooting Training
- Lessons start at $200.
- lessons are limited to 2 students; second student is $100.00.
- Students are responsible for shells, targets and birds if used.
- These sessions can last to up a half day and are typically more intense than a traditional sporting clays lesson.
- These sessions are designed for improving a hunter's success in the field.
- ShotTracker is utilized for on-the-spot analysis.
- Live birds can be used when available.
